Inspired by the existence of forced change, Haskell's mixed media work reaffirms the importance of maintaining cultural traits that define the human experience.  Using her research skills as a former history professor, combined with the desire to create contemporary work that sparks introspection, The Hindsight Series, using a split canvas approach, illuminating the harsh reality before and after Native American assimilation.
